TESTED POSITIVE

Hi,

Honestly, I never thought I will ever be writing this. Reason?
I had faith that I was taking proper care of myself, wearing mask, keeping clean etc etc etc. Along with having faith in a greater power.

I still tested positive for Covid-19, and unfortunately it isn't asymptomatic.

It started with extreme pain in the legs and then fever. Whatever I am eating, my body cannot take it and I vomit.
Three days of 103° Fever and then I got to know about the news.
My throat is sore and hurting, my eyes water all the time and I am unable to process anything that needs the mind to focus or ideate.

There are some relieves as well.
My oxygen level is good, for example.
And my fever has gone down to 101° F

I am in home isolation, completely away from other family members and despite being ill, I have to manage washing my own clothes, utensils etc. because nobody else can touch my things or me.

However, I am losing hope.
And I am not the kind of person who loses hope easily.
I am FRUSTRATED

On petty little things. Like why is my dalia so salty or why is someone shouting etc. etc.

But,
I still have faith in the love of my family, friends and God, and I HOPE (because I want to keep hoping and hoping) that I am all fine and well soon.

To all the people who have texted or called, sorry I am not able to respond to those but I will be recovering in couple weeks and I am sure that will happen.

In the mean time, please take this pandemic seriously, behave yourself and help anyone you can without obviously going near them.

When you become too much of being on your own, it feels weird, right? to live with parents or relatives once you've already learnt to actually stay alone. the concept and staying "together" again seems foreign; bizzare even. i don't remember when was the last time i thought that there will be a time that i will be living with family members for more than 10-15 days in a go but here we are. it's been 102 days since i have been around so many, almost too many people at once. there are occassional (read: religiously frequent) tussel and hard days, comfort (different sense), laughter and lots of home cooked food and the variety, oh my god the variety! moms often complain that we are lazy and that how do we manage to just survive with our dragging personality of being a couch potato or sleepy head all day.  it's not that difficult to understand you know? we are just different when we get home.
