How it all started! : THE WRITING BUSINESS
So this is my first ever blog post, and yeah, I am excited!
I never knew that I could write, up to class fourth. However, when I was in fifth standard, our class was given an assignment to write a story, starting or ending from "...that evening...", and that was when I pushed myself to think, imagine and to create.
I still remember how I, without thinking for even a fraction of second, wrote almost instantly:
"That evening it was snowing. The weather was very cold. Everybody was sleeping. I was laying on my bed, when suddenly from outside my bedroom window, I heard a voice say, :Help help! please save my life"".
And after that, I was blank. I had penned down the instant idea that flashed through my mind, and then I was out of ideas. I got up, ate, played and slept. When I woke up, I got an idea, a new one.
I continued,
"I freaked out, got up and wondered who it could be calling, and where he or she was. I looked out through my bedroom window. A little girl was trapped in snow..."
Well, that's that. After writing this, I was blank, ONCE.AGAIN.
All these years, this is what I have realized, that while writing something, it's not necessary that your ideas have to be pellucid, pre-planned and perfect. What matters, is the OUTPUT.
It's been more than eight years since the day I wrote my first story, but my way of "framing ideas" never really changed.
I am a grown up now. I have developed a great interest in writing stuff. Articles, short stories, poems and all. I am one of the official writers of a literary page "A Wordsmith's Mind", I have written several micro tales and poems for online platforms, I have written a book too; yet to be published, but that old habit of getting instant ideas and then having no ideas, never really changed.
At first, I thought I am ignorant and careless. Then I assumed that I am simply dumb. But gradually and finally I realized that what I do, and how I do, is MY way. This is how I create content. I choose to go with the latest and freshest idea that pops in my mind.
Everybody is different, and so am I.
It's my Panache, and I am going to keep it that way! :)
